Amber and Jade, a British brand of large size women’s shoes, wins retail award

Catherine and Ellora are both women with large feet. Catherine is the owner and founder of shoe site Amber and Jade [site: www.amberandjade.com]which she started in a bid to provide large fashionable shoes for women with large feet. Catherine wears a size 10 shoe. Ellora is the marketing, and PR brain behind Amber and Jade and her creative flair is instrumental. She has many years experience in design and fashion and has won many design awards. She wears a size 8 shoe. Both women know what women with larger feet want and do their best to deliver it!

And just to prove how well respected Amber and Jade is, they have won the Leader of the Year Award in the Specsavers everywoman in Retail Awards 2011. The awards encourage, support and celebrate the achievements of women working in the exciting and dynamic retail industry. On receipt of her award Catherine told the audience her favourite quote from Maud van de Venne “Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.  They just wear better shoes.” And then said that with her size 10 feet, now she had A&J she was delighted she could finally wear nice shoes!
