In a recent interview in the Telegraph Anna says “The style is sexy, funky and directional, We are not scared of strapless. We offer maxi dresses, cashmere and leather. Our necklines plunge. And we are not worried about showing off curves. Or a big leg. We don’t cut broader for a bigger bottom. We cut to achieve a slimline look rather than a boxy silhouette.” The new collection from Anna Scholz is available at Simply Be and Marisota.
The ethos behind the new range is “Celebratory rather than apologetic” The highly trendy range includes embroidered trousers, layered skirts, prom dresses, frilly jackets, sexy waistcoats, lacey blouses, sequined kaftans, and knitted tunics.
Anna has used autumnal colours and blacks in her new range of tops, with close attention to detail in the design of the cut, print, and embellishments. The Sequin Kaftan in purple with large brown flower print has sequin trim on the neckline creating a trendy gypsy look. This design is also available in black with bold white print and a sequin detail neck line. This top would be great for both day and evening wear. ‘The sequined neckline draws attention to your face and the combination of sparkle and bold print is perfect for this season’s style.’
The Knitted Tunic is tailored to accentuate curves with bat style sleeves that taper to fit over the lower arm. The tunic is available in purple or grey. Other tunics in the collection include the sexy Tunic and Cami which uses see-through material and includes the cami with adjustable straps.
Following Anna Scholz ethos in design, the Cut-Away Sleeve-Top has a sexy cut with the off the shoulder look. This top is available in plain black, purple or sequin black. The Lace Blouse and Cami is also very bold with Beautiful lace fabric with covered button detail over a Stretch camisole with adjustable straps. The Waistcoat will definitely create the wow effect with the low neckline and Satin-trim pockets and button detail.
The new trousers in the range are contrasting. First, the Flared Trousers have a lovely tailored cut with Satin trim down outside leg and Side-back elastication for comfort and fit. The Embroidered Jeans are straight cut with back pocket embroidery detail. The black Lace Trim Skirt is very pretty in at knee length it is straight cut with four horizontal layers, the last one in lace.
The new collection includes a range of dresses from prom to maxi. Anna Scholz has continued the lace theme with the Prom Dress. This sexy dress has thin adjustable straps and a tight bodice and full skirt which falls gracefully just below the knee. The dress is of lace effect with a contrast lining. The Maxi Dress is made from a luxurious stretchy fabric. It has a low cut neck line which is lined with lace and embellished with oval stone detail. The high waist gives way to a long flowing skirt. The sleeves are ¾ length and off the shoulder with shoulder straps. For less formal wear the Print Dress is stunning. Again it has a high waist and the skirt falls to the calves. The neckline has contrasting V neck detail with a black tie at the back. The sleeves are cut away off the shoulder.
The Frill Jacket in leather effect is available in black or purple. It is very stylish with zip fastening and frill detail.
