The 24 year old from Melbourne is 182cm tall with a chest of 183cm and waist of 110cm. His shoe size is a size 12. James Richard Aitken is undeniably gorgeous with dark features and blue eyes. He considers himself to be an authentic plus size model as he is confident portraying a healthy body image and embodies positive self esteem. BGM model agency evidently agrees as they have signed him to their books. James pursued a modeling career after reading an online article stressing the lack of plus size male models.
James Richard Aitken goes for the ‘cool look.’ If he were alive today, James would turn to James Dean as a style icon. His modern day icon however is David Bekham “because he always looks amazing no matter what he is wearing.” James told online magazine Jezebel “I want to make guys who aren’t skinny or who don’t have amazing muscular bodies feel comfortable too…men also need reassuring.” Jezebel continues to comment that ‘While plus-size female models are frequently posed nearly or fully nude, the industry is still uncertain how best to reveal the plus-size male body.’

Quite clearly there is a market for the full figured individuals, for brands and retailers to not advertise and gear themselves towards plus-size young adults by using plus-size models (male and female) is crazy.

I am sorry but I was expecting a little bit more! I found this website when I was searching the web to find some English country clothing that fit me. I’m 209 cm (6,8) and it is very difficult to find cloth that fit. When I read about a size plus model I wanted to see if there are some links attached were I could find some shops that sell cloth that fit me. But then I saw that the model is only 183 cm. So I gave up looking around this website.
A man this size is not a “plus size model” in the real world!
