Big Girls Paradise, Big Girls Galore, and Big People UK

Big Girls Paradise, Big Girls Galore and Big People UK are all websites aimed at big girls (and boys). They promote events, relationships, various clubs specifically for big girls and most importantly of all, these sites aim to give big people a voice.

Big Girls Paradise is a website specifically promoting nightclubs for BBW (that’s Big Beautiful Women).

It promotes events/clubs all over the UK, including London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff and Peterborough.

The site also has a chat room where you enter a user name and then are directed to a forum where you can chat with other like-minded users.

Along the menu bar on the site is “Club Events”. Here all the clubs in various cities are listed, will full information about address of venue, a map, ticket information and timings.

Their next event in London is at The Cape, on the 5th of September, and they are constantly adding new forthcoming party dates.

The site also has links to plus size clothing, dating, calendar and magazine sites for big girls.

Big Girls Paradise was established in London in1995, and is very successful with its BBW nightclub and events organization.

Big Girls Galore is based in the East Midlands and surrounding areas.

Its aim was to hold monthly party night for BBW, including Christmas parties, special events etc.

However, after browsing the site, there are no forthcoming events and the news in the Latest News section is dated from 2005, so it is unclear whether the site is still operational.

However, they do have a list of links under the “Links” section which are full of their favourite places, sites etc. and so this may still be useful for anyone wishing to find out more information.

They also have a Gallery section which has BBW photos and art, which is mostly done by other BBWs.

However, as far as events are concerned, this site has to rendered not fit for use.

Big People UK gives big girls a voice. This is its main aim.

It has many other purposes, listing events and clubs for BBW, a chat room, several galleries, a forum and a poetry section, where creative poems are posted about plus size issues.

The site wants to spread the message across the world about plus size people, and emphasise that everyone is equal, and that plus size people deserve a voice, without the pressure of feeling humiliated, being put down, insulted, or treated differently because of their size.

Big People UK underlines this point very strongly, whilst also incorporating events and all the other categories, which is why I think it is the best site for BBW to chat, meet and socialize.
