Spanish clothes brands are very distinctive and stylish. Spanish women seem almost effortlessly chic with their petite frames on high heels. Of course, I am generalising but it is true to say that in the past Spanish women have been petite which is reflected in the offerings in the fashion stores whose sizes rarely go above a size 14. However, as in every country, sizes are getting bigger in Spain but the fashion outlets are not meeting demands by offering plus size Spanish brands. Luckily, three brands are set to change this: Biluzik, Raf-Raf (Kurokai), and Carisal.

In my 20’s I did not have much money, who does, so I started shopping for second hand clothes in the local charity shops. I was amazed at the bargains you could pick up; designer clothes for 5.00 are not bad! And choice of where to buy second hand clothes in the UK has increased over the years.

Big On the Beach, an event for BBWs and BHMs
Being Big On The beach is something you should be proud of. Although it took me a long time to realise this. When I moved to paradise I felt too self conscious to go on the beach in a bikini or swimming costume. But it got to a point when I was missing out too much fun as every day was spent on the beach. I looked around me to see what other women looked like on the beach and had to conclude that no one cares what you look like! The key is to wear a good fitting bikini or suit and be confident.
