Today’s article will focus on where to find the best large clothes for boys and men.

Although many Plus Size Tall articles have focused on dressing plus size men well, few have actually focused on appealing to a slightly younger age-group of males.

One of my personal favourites supplying large clothes for boys is Burton (site: burton.co.uk).

This is because they always have a great theme continuously on their site, be it the ‘preppy’ look or their current ‘1950′s inspired iconic style‘.

With Burton, you’re not only getting good clothes, but also a huge database of resources full to the brim with advice on how to wear the latest look, what items go together (and which items don’t) etc.

That is why Burton is currently my top male retailer at the moment.

They do great suits that are very comfortable to your pocket.

These are perfect for men who need something smart be it for an interview or a smarter occasion.

This black pinstripe jacket is perfect for those things.

This can be bought separately or with the matching trousers, as it will also smarten up a pair of jeans.

From £69, which was already reasonable, this has been reduced to £49 (cheaper than a jumper!).

This is a single-breasted jacket with relatively thin stripes (which serve as a slimming effect).

Great for boys who want to appear sharp and defined.

Quick tip: Make sure you wear good, polished shoes. The worse thing a guy can do is spend the effort to look good, and then forget the shoes.

Another male retailer that I would highly recommend for large clothes for boys is Marks and Spencer (site: marksandspencer.com).

They are probably second on my list of favourites, and without a doubt will always provide the best quality.

There prices are more dear than Burton’s, but their quality never fails.

If anything is not to your liking, their customer services team is also one of the most helpful I have experienced to date.

It may be hard to believe it at the moment if you are in the UK, but spring is around the corner, and with it a new fashion season. It will hopefully be the time to drop the heavy coats and sweaters for lighter garments. UllaPolken’s spring range is already available so get rid of the winter blues and take a look! Wow, the Crash Tunic is gorgeous. This stunning top has small dainty flowers on blocks of purple and brown, lace detailing, and buttons to the bust. This top is a must!

The trouser range from the UllaPolken spring collections includes both smart and casual trousers.

The Boot Cut Trousers are very smart and very flattering. They are available in taupe and would look great with a pair of heels.

The Knitted Trousers are slightly heavier, and have a stitched in crease to lengthen and slim the appearance. These trousers, available in navy, have a matching jacket to complete the elegant look. The Knitted Jacket has long sleeves, is partially lined, with a wide collar and large button detailing.

For a more casual trouser, I love the Marlene Jeans. These jeans are in a very wide cut which is not only flattering, but comfortable, with a part elasticated waist, and in a washed blue. The front crease again provides the suggestion of slim lines.

Of course, UllaPolken have an excellent range of clothes in their other collections such as Sportwear, tipped to be the new 2010 fashion trend. Their City collection is ideal for the girl about town and the Casual collection is for “today’s woman [who] makes her own decision on what she wants, or doesn’t want to wear.”

Who said large clothes had to be boring? The following selection of stores selling large clothes are testament to the fact that large or plus size does definitely not mean a compromise on fashion.

The large clothes range from Evans has always been inspirational for plus size women with collections from some real Divas such as Chaka Khan and Beth Ditto.

The Black and White Pattern Blouse with dogtooth print will catch people’s eye as the black and grey print sways in front of your eyes! The top has pin tuck and ties at the neck and ¾ length sleeves. It will look great with black leggings or jeans.

Another impressive top is the Black Leopard Print T Shirt. The dramatic leopard print jumps out at you from the black t shirt. And of course animal prints and large prints are hot this season so you will look very up to the minute in them.

The Black Stud Batwing Top is further proof that large clothes do not have to be boring. This rock chic number would look great with leggings and studded wedge shoes. The top has studs lining either side of the jumper, a scoop neck, and ¾ length sleeves.

Dresses and Tunics look great with leggings or opaque tights and teemed with boots or heels at this time of year.
