What to wear on a night out? Well, that is a big question and one asked by all girls regardless of size. And such a difficult question to answer as a night out can be very different from another depending on occasion and location. If going to a top notch restaurant you will want to wear something sophisticated and elegant, if you are going to the pub then something more casual will do, and a night out to a night club will require something trendier.
Zandra Rhodes plus size collection for Simply Be
The Daily Mail has revealed that Zandra Rhodes has created a plus size range for Simply Be [site: www.simplybe.co.uk]. The collections will be available in sizes 14 to 32 in exciting Zandra Rhodes colours. The collection has been styled to emphasise women’s curves and flatters the figure. ‘The trick is to emphasise cleavage with a V-neck, heighten the waist, make the sleeves wide, cut holes in the top of a sleeve to show the slenderest parts of the arm and, in the case of a jacket, let it flow down the front of the body to emphasise the print and not the bumpy bits underneath. It’s an optical illusion.’ Zandra Rhodes has a lot of experience designing clothes for the plus size figure as she has been creating costumes for operas both in the UK and US.

Pros and Cons of plus size Summer skirts
I am not by tradition a skirt person. Jeans yes, skirts no. But due to the heat this summer I have ditched my jeans in favour of plus size summer skirts for work and daywear. The cons became immediately apparent! Creasing….Some styles crease so easily. After sitting the car for half an hour the skirt has totally lost its crisp and ironed look. Some summer skirts are also too see-through and as a result not suitable for wearing to work or around town. Another problem I have encountered is that in the heat I feel stickier around the legs in a skirt than in jeans! However, none of these cons will stop me from wearing skirts in the summer now I have discovered some styles I like. They make you feel far more feminine with so many pretty styles to choose from. They do make you feel cooler in general, and they can be very comfortable. Another great thing about plus size summer skirts is that they can be worn during the day and into the evening.
