Philomena Kwao is hitting the headlines heralded as Britain’s first black plus size model. Philomena was one of five girls to make it through to the final of the modeling contest held by Evans in conjunction with Style369 and Models 1. As the winner of the competition, she is now signed with a division of Models 1, a company called Excel-Models1 tapping into the trend for curvier women.
