I’m 28 years old, I have been married for almost 9 years and we have no children. My husband and I lost everything including our home and business with the economy. We had to literally start over with nothing and build ourselves back up. I would not change that horrible situation for anything because I learned so much. Most importantly I learned what matters to me. Materialistic things mean nothing. As long as we are living and healthy, that is all we need! There were people who were a lot worse off from us and we have to happy that we wake up each day. So, we went back to regular jobs and within a year we were working for ourselves again. I’m so blessed to have been able to leave my dead end job to pursue something that makes me happy. Do something I really want to do. I began pursuing plus size modeling in Jan 2011 and I’m proud to say that I just signed a 2 year contract with an agency that will be representing me in NYC, LA, and Miami. Such a HUGE accomplishment in such little time. Where I am today is because of my hard work, my husband that supports me in all I do, and all the lessons I have learned from all experiences, bad and good. I hope to inspire others and let them know that just because you fail once, doesn’t mean you give up!
