Mais oui, even the French edition of ELLE magazine has noticed the plus size fashion craze: this Friday (March 26), ELLE France is launching its “Spécial Rondes” (i.e. the Curvy Issue). It is a first for this major and influential magazine. Plus-Size model Tara Lynn is on the cover of ELLE’s plus size issue. French women do get fat, but they do so in style!
Over 32 pages of this week’s new issue of the French ELLE are dedicated to plus size fashion: beauty tips, trendy brands, pictures of model such as Tara Lynn, Big Beauty and Johann Dray.
Here is a photo spread from the coming issue:

J’aimerais poser pour un magasine de mode pour femme forte. Je mesure 1metre 63 et pèse approximativement 200 lbs j ai une forte poitrine 40 d et j’habille entre du 16 et du 18 ans. J’adore la musique et la danse je suis une femme énergétique et très souriante. Je suis sexy a mes heures. Au plaisir d’avoir de vos nouvelles.
Thank you Plus Size and Tall for showing us this beautiful French Elle featuring stunning plus-size model Tara!
Why is it necessary for the fashion industry to go from one extreme to the next.? Is there a problem with presenting women, not 15 year old girls, with BMIs in the normal and healthy range?
This is not the first plus size issue. Elle is having a + size issue every year since years! Tara Lynn is one of the most beautiful woman I ever seen
It’s OK, men actually prefer women with some curve…
What bothers me more is the BAD curves, when a fashion mag like Vogue showed MICHELLE OBAMA on the cover, she is really not pretty inside and out
Agree i always like curvy models
