Although some items are very expensive, their quality of style and material are well worth it.
His collection is one of the examples that you pay for the quality you get.
At first glance of the collection, my favourite has to be this John Varvatos Star USA Workwear Jacket.
The waxed cotton adds fashion to a functional style, and the jacket features a five-button front, button-through pockets, a centre back vent and lining with one interior button-through pocket.
At £375 it is quite pricey, but its lovely style will smarten up any outfit.
The charcoal grey colour will also flatten any body shape.
Another of my favourites is these pair of converse by John Varvatos Oxfords.
At £110 they are more expensive than your normal converse, but they have canvas with a designer touch in deep tones. The slip-ons have laced eyelets, which give the illusion of oxfords. The shoe is completed with a rubber sole.
These trainers add a more preppy style to your otherwise casual outfit.
They are available in up to a size 14.5 UK size, and so are very useful for those that struggle to find trainers in half sizes.
Third on my list of favourites is these John Varvatos Aged Loafers.
With his unique touch, Varvatos creates casual shoes in a typically understated manner with distressed leather upper and rubber outsoles.
They are available in up to a UK size 14.5, and are priced at £365.
Although expensive, these shoes will see you through year after year.
Another of my favourites from the John Varvatos collection is these Star USA Denim Jeans.
Featuring vintage accents in a straight-leg style with embroidered spade back pockets, rivet detailing and contrast stitching.
The dark, durable cotton denim make them ideal to be worn at night with smart t-shirts and shirts, although the dark colour will also serve to smarten up a casual day look as well.
These jeans will go nicely with the aged loafers and a nice shirt for an evening out.
