What if the only thing holding you back was yourself? Meet Chelsea Settles, the 23 year old plus sized beauty who focuses on this very point as she becomes the face of MTV USA’s latest reality show.
Weighing in at 324 pounds (just over 23 stone), Chelsea Settles doesn’t fit the usual reality star mould. However the show follows her dreams of pursuing a career in the weight obsessed world of fashion, and charts her journey as she moves to LA to make these dreams a reality.
Kicking off in October on MTV USA, Chelsea Settles certainly isn’t just a new version of “The Hills”. Presenting a real portrayal of the prejudice and struggles which larger people face, it is coupled with the difficulties which dieting, moving and embarking on a new social scene all bring, and we share her journey as she tackles each of them.
