Plus-Size-Tall.com belongs to a media company called Fashion Fox (fashion-fox.com). Based in Paris, France, Fashion Fox publishes several successful online fashion magazines, in several languages.

Although Fashion Fox is a French company, its authors are 100% British. The idea to bring local knowledge to plus-size fashion and tall fashion news articles.

THE PERSONAL STORY BEHIND PLUS-SIZE-TALL.com

We have created Plus-Size-Tall.com in order to help plus-size and tall shoppers find more clothing and footwear options. Plus-Size-Tall.com focuses on UK online boutiques, but our goal is to help all European online shoppers (and beyond, such as in the USA, Canada and Australia). UK online boutiques offer a wide choice and many of them deliver to other European Union countries without any custom charges.

The story behind Plus-Size-Tall.com is one of brother-sister friendship, frustration over regular clothes stores, and community building.

iStock 000004807771XSmall 288x200 Our Team First came Thibault Masson, a French guy who created in 2007 two online fashion magazines in France : one about women’s shoes (chaussure-femmes.com), and the other one about lingerie and underwear (lingerie-slip-calecon.com). The aim was to provide fashion advice, tips, fashion deals, useful and entertaining news around these themes.

Yet, when Thibault showed his two new sites to his sister Corinne for the first time, she said: “Fine, this looks good. But there’s nothing for me on your site. I need wider shoes and I am a size 52 (i.e. UK size 26). You have neglected your own sister’s fashion needs”.

After thinking hard about Corinne had told him and after conducting online research to see whether the internet offered more options for plus-size clothing, Thibault decided to launch a new site. This site was to become what is now Ma-Grande-Taille.com (http://www.ma-grande-taille.com). Its goal is tp help plus-size and tall shoppers find more clothing and footwear options. Corinne helped him understand the needs of plus-size shoppers. Moreover, Thibault’s life partner, Bruno happens to be tall (1.93m or 6’4″), which in turn helped him write about tall persons’ needs.

iStock 000005494843XSmall1 290x192 Our Team After 2 years, Thibault noticed that quite a few French readers of Ma-Grande-Taille.com mentioned that they loved buying clothes from UK sites such as Evans and Dorothy Perkins. So, Thibault simply chose to create a UK-focused version of Ma-Grande-Taille.com, called Plus Size and/or Tall (http://www.plus-size-tall.com). This would be a site created to help UK, European, and all other shoppers find more clothing options, thanks to British online fashion boutiques.
