I truly love designing – which is why I chose to close my popular store on Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan. I’d created fashions for plus-sized women for a quarter century and enjoy dealing with my customers each day. But running the shop took valuable time away from creating fashion. While I miss the daily interaction with my customers, I find that selling exclusively online gives me more freedom to concentrate on what I care about most: Designing clothing for the fuller figured woman.
