Plus size online store: PagoPago and Sosienna

sosienna Plus size online store: PagoPago and SosiennaPagoPago (site: pagopago.co.uk) and Sosienna (site: sosienna.com) are two online sites that are targeted towards the plus-size market.

In Sosienna’s own words, they believe “every woman should have access to beautiful plus size clothing that accentuates and flatters her curves”.

They choose clothes from the worlds’ best plus-size designers and deliver all around the world, so are great for overseas as well as UK customers.

Sosienna’s catchphrase is “designer clothing for the plus size diva“.

Although PagoPago also provides plus-size clothing for women, it’s company and aims are slightly different to Sosienna. It’s family-run, and it has been in the textiles business for over 35 years, involving itself in all stages of the clothes-making process. Sosienna on the other hand, provides plus-size clothing from designers. PagoPago’s catchphrase is a somewhat low key “clothes for natural sizes”.

Sosienna seems to be the store that women choose who want designer makes and up-to-date fashion in plus sizes. PagoPago is for women who are looking for comfortable clothing, and who don’t really mind whether it’s a make or not.

The prices for clothing on both sites are relatively similar, with PagoPago’s clothing being a bit cheaper.

A noticeable difference between the two sites is the amount of clothing they provide. Whilst Sosienna provide a huge variety of items, from dresses, skirts, trousers, and work wear to evening wear, coats and body shapers, PagoPago have a very limited range, providing tops, cardigans, trousers or skirts.

PagoPago has some nice pieces, but I wouldn’t say they were up-to-date fashion-wise. Sosienna, on the other hand, has a lot more items that are very fashionable and on trend for autumn.

sosienna dress Plus size online store: PagoPago and SosiennaOne of my favourites from the Sosienna site is this satin wrap dress. It’s available in up to a size 30. The dress creates an elegant, hourglass silhouette, with the satin material creating a soft and sexy look. The elegant stitching and dainty covered buttons add girly glamour to this already flattering dress. The chocolate-y brown colour is perfect for this autumn and winter, with earthy, rich tones being very popular. The tied bow accentuates the waist, and adds a pretty extra detailing to the outfit.

PagoPago has quite a lot of good quality casual tops to choose from, with their focus probably more towards a more mature market.

Both PagoPago (site: pagopago.co.uk) and Sosienna (sosienna.com) are great places to start when looking for plus-size clothing.
