Hello Plus-Size-Tall.com Fans! This is Aimee and Erica of MadisonPlus.com and we are happy to be guest blogging today on three of the big fashion trends of Spring 2010- Tribal Temptress, Military Issue, and Sweetness & Light!
Tribal Temptress
The first trend, Tribal Temptress, was seen recently on Beyonce. This trend is all about bright printed dresses, beaded necklaces, wooden and nature inspired cuffs, and sandals with tribal embellishments.
Tribal print dresses are the curvy girl’s best friend over the summer; not only do they keep you cool, they are also perfectly flattering and it allows you to show off your leg!

Military Issue
Our next trend is Military Issue. This trend is focused on military inspired colors and silhouettes. Olives and Khaki are the biggest colors, seen in jackets, capris, skirts and tanks. Utilitarian cargo pockets and messenger bags are cropping up everywhere. The key accessories are longer gold-toned necklaces and cuffs.
These pieces are easy to wear and they are very figure friendly. Jackets smooth out any bumpy parts and allow you to cover up for when you are feeling a little self-conscious. On top of that army green is such a complementary colour for almost all skin types. Remember to keep the pieces that you choose feminine because it will keep the army green from looking like your in bootcamp.

Move over neon, it is now time for pastels to get some of the colour spotlight. All over the runway this spring season designers have been featuring pastels such as pale pink, baby blue, and lavender. Add some bling to the mix by layering on accessories that shine.
There is a pastel hue for all skin types, so don’t be afraid to try because they wont wash you out.
