Marks and Spencers Big and Tall range for tall men (site: marksandspencer.com) has some key wardrobe pieces perfect for summer 2010.
Marks and Spencers has always made excellent quality clothes, and their Big and Tall range for tall men is no exception.
The range provides clothes for men that have between 36″ and 52″ chests, and up to a 35″ leg.
There isn’t a large quantity of items in the range, but what they do have is of the utmost quality, are flexible pieces, and are reasonably priced.
Whilst the range itself doesn’t have as many ‘summer’ items as other collections might have, the idea is to build a flexible and versatile wardrobe with key pieces.
One of my picks from the trousers section (site: www.marksandspencer.com) would definitely have to be these Big and Tall Blue Harbour Regular Fit Stretch Denim Jeans.
Relaxed and casual, these regular fit jeans are made with stretch for comfort and ease of movement.
These have been given an excellent rating of 4 out of 5 by previous customers who have bought the jeans.
They are available in three colours; black, medium blue and indigo.
Medium blue is particularly good for summer as it’s not too dark, and you can match it up with a lot of bright t-shirts.
The jeans are priced at £19.50.
They are available in sizes 32 to 50″ waist, and between 27 and 35″ leg.
Everyone needs a pair of jeans that they can match with anything in their wardrobe – and for tall men these are an excellent choice.
Another favourite from the Marks and Spencers Big and Tall range (site: www.marksandspencer.com) are these Big and Tall Freshfeet Leather Round Toe Lace Up Boat Shoes.
When you want a pair of shoes that aren’t as casual as trainers, but still comfortable and for day use, these are the perfect alternative.
These look great with a pair of chinos or with jeans.
Team with a polo for an extra preppy look.
These are priced at £39.50, and are available in sizes 13 to 15 (UK).
Smart casual style is easy with these lace up leather shoes. A versatile, practical and comfortable choice.
They are only available in the colour shown, and they use Freshtech technology which combats the bacteria that causes bad smells and odours – so you won’t be embarrassed every time you have to take your shoes off!
I quite like M&S gear but they really should rename their range as Big OR Tall!
My son is 6’5″ and a 46 waist – all M&S long trousers stop at 44 and all their 46 waists stop at 33″.
I’m 6′ and size 26 and have a similar problem with their skirts. They do sell longer length skirts – but not in plus sizes.
Seems we’re only supposed to grow up or out.
