Tyra Banks looking for fiery real plus-size teen model

Tyra Banks is looking for a fiery real plus-size teen model, in the first ever plus-size teen model competition.
Tyra Banks is looking for someone ‘fiercely real’, after believing that with the average American woman is a size 12, we need more plus-size models in the fashion industry.
Curvacious and gorgeous plus-size teen models should be compelled to apply, with this being a great opportunity for anyone trying to break into the industry.
The winner will receive numerous advantageous prizes, including:
1. A one year modelling contract with top modelling agency Wilhelmina Models.
2. A fashion spread on Tyra’s MagaLine.
3. Cover photo with Tyra on Tyra’s MagaLine.
4. A spread in a major fashion magazine.
In order to be eligible to enter, you need to be between 13 and 19 years of age.
You also need to be between a size 12 and 20, and stand tall at between 5 ft 9 and 6 ft 1.
You will need to take 4 photographs of yourself, wearing form-fitting leggings and a tank-top/tee shirt.
These need to include; a full body shot, a waist up shot, a face forward shoulder up shot and a 3/4 profile shoulder up shot.
If you are a little confused as to what exactly this entails, click here to see examples of the four shots (shown by Tyra).
If you are under 18, the competition also requires that they have your parents/guardians permission.
Tyra Banks is an incredibly intelligent entrepreneur, and this only one of the projects she is currently involved with.
For those that don’t know, she is also the brains behind America’s Next Top Model, which has seen many series and has also had a plus-size model win one of the series.
With recent articles and news, especially on Plus Size Tall, of the plus-size community making more noise in the fashion industry, this is another large step in the right direction.
Tyra has always been an advocate of plus-size models, and those with real curves.
She even told one model on one of the America’s Next Top Model series that she was far too skinny and needed to gain weight.
With people like her, who are influential and successful, holding the baton for plus-size women and plus-size fashion, we can definitely look forward to a brighter future for the plus-size industry.
